Type a country name in the search box and submit your guess.
Each guess reveals one more piece of the hidden flag. You have 6 attempts total.
After each guess you'll see:
The arrow shows direction, km shows distance, and the heat icon shows how close you are!
Play the Daily Challenge โ one special flag every day, same for all players worldwide!
No guesses yet. Make your first guess above!
Every day at midnight UTC, a new flag goes live on Flagle Unlimited. Every player around the world gets the same flag, so you are all solving the same puzzle at the same time. You get 6 attempts to identify the country, and each wrong guess reveals another piece of the flag along with the distance in kilometers and the compass direction from your guess to the correct answer.
The Daily Challenge is designed to be a focused, once-a-day test of your flag knowledge. It sits alongside the unlimited mode, which lets you play as many games as you want. Think of the Daily Challenge as the competitive layer: a single shared puzzle that connects you to every other player on the site that day.
In unlimited mode, a new random flag appears every time you hit Play Again. You can practice as many times as you like, skip flags you find too difficult, and work through regions systematically. The Daily Challenge removes all of that flexibility. One flag, one attempt per day, no skipping. That constraint is precisely what makes it compelling. When you finish, you know that thousands of other players faced exactly the same puzzle, and you can compare results honestly.
Your Daily Challenge streak counts how many consecutive days you have completed the challenge. Winning adds to the streak. Losing does not break it, because the streak tracks participation rather than success. What does break it is missing a day entirely. This design encourages players to at least attempt the challenge every day, even on days when the flag looks unfamiliar. A loss you tried is better than a zero you skipped.
Streaks are tracked automatically for all players, whether you have an account or not. If you create a free account, your streak appears on the global leaderboard and is preserved across devices. Guest streaks are stored in your browser session and will reset if you clear cookies or switch devices.
Because you only get one attempt per day, your approach should be more deliberate than unlimited mode. Take a moment before your first guess to look at what the first revealed tile shows. Even a single tile can give you a color hint: a green field suggests an Islamic nation or a sub-Saharan African country, sky blue suggests Central Asia, and red over white narrows with the arrow after your first guess.
Start with a large, centrally positioned country to generate maximum geographic data. Russia, Brazil, Nigeria, and Turkey are all strong openers because they generate distance and direction data that covers a wide range of possible answers. After your first guess, use both the distance and the direction arrow together. The distance tells you the radius. The direction tells you where on that radius to look. Together they almost always narrow the field to one continent within two guesses.
After finishing, a result card appears with colored squares representing your guesses. Green means correct, yellow means within 1,000 km, red means further away. Hit the Share button to copy the emoji grid to your clipboard. The grid shows your attempt pattern without revealing the answer, making it safe to share before others have played. This works like Wordle sharing and is designed for group chats, social media, and anywhere geography enthusiasts gather.
How often does it reset?
Every day at midnight UTC. A new flag appears for everyone simultaneously.
Can I play more than once per day?
No, one attempt per day. Use unlimited mode for extra practice.
Does a loss break my streak?
No. Only missing the challenge entirely resets your streak. Playing and losing still counts.
Is it the same flag worldwide?
Yes. Every player sees the same flag on the same day.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest play is fully supported. Create a free account to appear on the leaderboard and preserve your streak across devices.
